Meet Jerry Ford Sr.
Candidate for Texas State House of Representative - District 139
Jerry Ford Sr. is a former Assistant Fire Chief with the Houston Fire Department and owner of several small businesses.
Jerry Ford graduated from Texas A&M University System.
As a candidate for State Representative, I humbly seek your vote based on a unique blend of experience and a passion for public safety.
My background as an Assistant Fire Chief with the HFD equips me with a profound understanding of public safety issues,
An invaluable asset for addressing emergency services, disaster preparedness, and public safety.
This experience positions me to advocate for policies that prioritize public safety.
As a business owner, I have created jobs and employed real Americans, and I know what it means to meet a payroll so that my employees can provide for their families. Being embedded in the community means I speak and interact with citizens daily; I hear their concerns and now stand ready to address them.
My life story proves that the American Dream is obtainable, and I want to counter the Left’s narrative that only government is the answer. My candidacy is focused on these principles and my desire to restore our great conservative values for all Americans.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SERVICE
My community service is second to none:
- My community service is 2nd to none; I have volunteered to work with kids from Tomball, Katy, Houston, and Spring for over 20 years, coaching Little League basketball and baseball.
- My greatest reward from volunteering, mentoring, and coaching was watching those young boys become college students and productive professional men.
- For over ten years, my family and I have teamed up with Ford Motor Company to raise thousands of dollars for schools to provide equipment and meals for kids.
- As a Community Volunteer, Fire Chief, and Business owner, I realized that I had to earn the trust and respect of the people I served daily. That’s what I intend to do as your Representative.
